Ryan Academy is a small private school for students in grades one through twelve. We have served the Tidewater Region for more than fifty years, and we are committed to:

A strong, traditional academic program is at the core of Ryan Academy's purpose. To accomplish this, class size is limited so teachers can truly know and accommodate each student's individual needs. Educational enhancement opportunities are readily available for those students whose learning styles range anywhere from educationally challenged to academically gifted.

In addition to providing a strong, traditional academic program, Ryan Academy offers a variety of sports and club activities. Our sports program includes JV (grades 6-10) and varsity (grades 9-12) basketball, cheerleading (grades 6-12), bowling (grades 1-12), baseball (grades 7-12), softball (grades 6-12), and golf (grades 6-12). High school clubs offer the opportunity for participation in a wide variety of activities such as debate, forensics, computer, yearbook publication, photography, art, model UN, science, Spanish, French and math.
